That's called artistic general interpretation, for them Hades = God of hell so horns, Poseidon = God of water so blue hair, Zeus = God of lightening so blonde hair or clouds. What they care about is that during that moment (the judges reaction) they'd be like "oh this person was told to draw a mythological God, and he gave him horns, so that's probably Hades" that's it

Clearly, none of them studied Greek mythology. Hades does not have horns, the Pegasus was created by Poseidon, none of the gods had blue hair but if they did, that would be more fitting with Poseidon. The easiest way to identify a bad-ass like Hades would be to have Cerberus beside him.

Where is zues or hades?? All I saw was Poseidon with one Hercules with horns. Not one of the gods have horns or blue hair. The Pegasus were created by Poseidon not Hades nor Zues. Same as the Trident is know as Posedions Trident not Zues or Hades. Also if any god was going to have blue hair, it make more sense for Poseidon to have blue hair than Zues or Hades.

Everyones being so nit picky, but the thing is that they are interpretations and that Disney did the same thing in hercules. Actually many Greek artist did make Hades hace horns (More so after acient Greece but you know.) I liked the blue hair and the red eyes, think it would have been better if it were black and maybe the highlight blue, but hey, either way its sweet. The only one that I think doesnt fit here is the Zeus and Pegasus.

There is little to no representation of Hades from ancient Greece/Rome because since he was the god of the Underworld they didn't want to make something that was associated with death. According the greek mythology Zeus and his brothers, Poseidon and Hades, were represented by artists in the same way - old looking man (with long beards) and muscular bodies; their only differences were their attributes - Zeus had the lightning bolts, Poseidon the trident and Hades had Cerberus. Hades was never portrayed with horns; the only mythical creature with horns was Pan.

.... yes, LATER artists depicted Hades with horns.... after the advent of Christianity! Then, slowly, just about every death god from pagan and polytheistic religions became associated with Satan. Why? To force other cultures to accept the One God set up of Christianity. So, Hades was portrayed as having horns and characterized as evil.... But he wasn't. He was the Lord of All Under the Earth; not just the dead, but everything. Riches of every nature, tunnels and secrets. oh yeah the horns were definately added to associate Hades with Satan because we don't realize that the Underworld is not the same thing as Hell?? The Underworld, according to greek mythology, is were all souls go when they die, except for the souls of the heros - bc of their status they get to stay in a different place. Meanwhile Hell is for sinners etc. I also didn't study portraits of Hades within chritianity because it just didn't matter lmao what bugs me the most is the fact that Hades is seen as a bad guy (as if he were the same as Satan) when he's nothing like that
