Other informations you should know: 1. This was on a truck meeting, on closed roads. 2. The truck's ECU was actually programmed for over 1000 hp (the tuner said "no limit") and smoking BUT only for the show, for festival purposes. 3. On normal days the driver does not drive like this, so please don't bully him. This style was for the show as well. And as you can see, hundreds of people liked it. No v8 should ever b out of the greenband ie 1400/1500 revs all you r doing is melting manifolds mate

The max rev is set to about 1900-2200 in factory, so the engine should handle it until then. I guess. Yeah, 2200-2500 which this one probably hits is surely not healthy, but at this level of Greek tuning the mechanical parts are also changed- as far as I can see what they're doing down there.

Zivatary just because the max is 2000 doesn’t mean you go that far no manufacturer in the world will tell you to max revs and I doubt very much if all mechanical parts have been changed all these Greek trucks r mostly second hand. I was a scania mechanic for over 9years so trust me when I say driving like this will kill that truck not only the engine but also the running gear.

@@chris77777777ify They fall apart being stock. Increasing engine power probably means less life for the engine and less life for the rest of the powertrain that wasnt designed for such power. Doing a burnout in a truck with the differential lock on probably wont do much good either.

People do things like this EVEN IN SWEDEN so shut the fuck up and mind your own business. Also the original sound is just the diesel rattle from the engine. The exhaust doesn't sound any good. Also the camera doesn't capture the sound nicely. I've heard this truck running in real life and it sounds much better

I’m an American. Yes, I am aware that there are European trucks that are typically stronger than American trucks. I’ve also been to Europe. In USA, I own a few trucks and I also drive a friend’s tuned peterbilts with c-15 cats turned wayyy up. 18 speeds. It seems that with the cats...going above 650 hp shortens the life. Dramatically. It’s constant head gaskets, cracked heads, and more. The trucks I drive are 750-950hp. It’s very hard in the drivetrain. I drive it like I’m in constant fear. I barely touched throttle, roll on and off from starts and stops as gentle as possible. I always hear about the factory Scania and Volvo trucks in Europe with 750hp stock! The Volvo in USA is...well...a fleet truck and from what I hear(not speaking from personal experience) is you have to make the money with the truck fast and dump it at auction at a loss. Drivers praise the ride and the sleeper. I hear the wiring sucks. Not sure why the American trucks are different than European. Wheelbase and highway laws?
