Sounds fantastic. The only thing that would make it even more perfect is if you added some spinach in there. Spinach with chickpeas and lemon is wonderful. Spinach with chickpeas and rice and lemon is sure to be a hit.

Chick peas AND lentils are the best legumes, another great vegan recipe is Pasta i cecci, chickpeas and pasta! A non-vegan version would be to simply add some diced pork, chicken or bacon cubes.

I used both tonight and it was great. Either or would also work I'm sure. I also tasted for salt as it was just coming to a simmer and adjusted before putting the lid on. All that water made it need salt.

I love your recipes and your channel! I have to say though the idea of protein combining has been scientifically debunked. It’s easily searchable on the internet. You can have a healthy vegan or vegetarian diet without doing this.
