I just finished to watch the lesson. Very interesting words and sentences. To write them on paper is my task for tomorrow. Maybe I will have some questions later. Thank you for the lesson. 🌹🌺

Unusually, we have 9 minutes of grammar explanation before we get to see how to say anything. Did you mean to to do that?
@GreekWithStaloАй бұрын
Hi, Andy! Yes, the first 9 minutes are important, because I explain the meaning of imperative ( some people don't know what imperative means), I give the imperative of the verbs έχω and είμαι, and I also explain the periphrastic way of using the imperative. Thank you for your comment!

Γеιá σaç! I would like to ask you about the Imperative. I meet different forms of some verbs: For example: πíνω - πιeç -πiéσte but - πieíte; Лéω - пеç - пéσте but пеíte; Βлéпω - δеç - δéσte , but δeíte. Thank you in advance!
@GreekWithStalo11 ай бұрын
Hello, Ljubomir!! The forms πιέστε, πέστε, δέστε are just different versions of πιείτε, πείτε, δείτε, which are the main imperative forms. They are all correct and all common. Thank you!!

How come then my ex neighbour used to say to his dog then , when it was doing something he didn't like " με " (Mee sound in English) for " Don't ! / Do not ! Instead of " μην " ( Meen ) ?
@GreekWithStalo Жыл бұрын
Hi, Sam!! If I understand correctly, he was saying "με" not "μη", right? "Μη" is the same as "μην" but "με" is a form that is used in some Greek dialects, such as Cypriot Greek. Was he from Cyprus by any chance?
@Sam_Green____4114 Жыл бұрын
No , l think he was from Northern Greece. Can't remember where . l 'll ask the wife . She used to speak to him ! @@GreekWithStalo

Maybe in Northern Greece they use it too, I don't know. Yes, his wife can give us the answer.
