Turn the top of the laser until the beam is as small as it can get on the object you want to burn. make sure you wear protective glasses because the small dot can harm your eyesight.

To burn with this laser you need to focus the laser on your target by screwing the top pice on the laser until it is as small as the beam can get. Then point the small part of the beam on the match and it should ignite the match.

It depends on what kind of charger you have. With my charger it usually takes about an hour for a full charge. Don't expect it to be the same.

To keep children from using the laser, its dangerous with just a button because a kid could find it and press the button and become blind or have a vision defect.

When the key is twisted it pulls away the two contact points in the back of the laser, this making no power going to the front of the laser. its like a click on click off button except instead of a button its a key.

There might be a defect in the diode. The lenses might be dirty. The battery might not be good. It could just be a problem with the electronics. Many ways the lasers can be different.

No get the Olight Omni-Dok II charging dock and also get their 18650s which are pretty good and high quality better than ones on ebay, btw this charger can also charge other rechargable batteries such as AA and AAA Ni-Mi batteries
