They put one in Texas this past year and they are all over the Sacramento region. Lovely place to shop for plants. This one is my favorite, so far.

I am soooo jealous about the agapanthus!!!! If I found one for $8, it would be gone like the wind. I see them in pots all the time English gardening. BTW, I have overwintered my dishonorable for 2 years. You can do it by keeping them moist!

Good to know! I will do that.

Sorry Pam, the word is dishonorable. Also, I bought red campion seeds, winter sowed them and they didn't make it. I didn't use them all of them, should I threw some seeds in my bed this fall?
@FlowerPatchFarmhouse3 ай бұрын
@@lisab.6818 I would, so many of my flowers reseed themselves and that is usually in Fall. So I would say give it a whirl, I like to mimic nature as it makes such sense. 🙂

Oh how I miss "the hunt" because we are going to be selling our home after loving my garden for 20 years so no new plants that would be left behind. I did put in two hibiscus this year but I will be potting them up and bringing them with me. The "Angel Eyes" and " Candy Crush" the blooms are the size of a dinner plate. Some of my roses are already potted up ready to go. Collecting seeds and taking lots of photos to capture the memories. Do you have any hibiscus? I also have pink, white and blue chiffon Rose of Sharon. Love them all but so do the Japanese beetles. I wage war every day with my bucket of soapy water and plucking them off. Thank you for a great video! I looked up the Dragonfruit Sunblaze Rose it is so sweet, no wonder you would like one for your garden.

I have one dinner plate hibiscus. I have had it in the Entrance Garden for about 20 years now. I don't get blooms until September on any of them so I gave all but that one away, the Disco Belle maroon one. They took up too much space without giving many blooms in my climate so though I loved them they were not going to work for me. Wait, I almost forgot, I also have a Luna variety that I grew from seed too. It is still in a pot out back. It got spider mites so bad I thought I lost it.

I was just there! Someday we will run into to each other, I’m sure. Have you shopped at Big Oak Nursery on Grantline? They have a really nice selection of plants and trees.

Not yet, I will have to look them up. Always on the look out for more sources. Many carry what others do not. Thanks for the tip!
