Thanks for the upload. I believe this was one of Favre's greatest games, given the overall performance against this tough Ravens defense. It was kinda sad seeing the Sharper family being the spotlight of this game, knowing what Darren would go on to do. His family seemed like nice people...

Favre was a superior quarterback who could dice the best defenses. It makes me think that had head coach Mike Sherman adopted a spread offense strategy, he would have had more success.

Lots of running and play action. Other than that the West Coast Offense was about getting the ball out quicker. But I also think maybe they were trying to protect him.

I believe they ran a 5 wide out spread offense in 2007, Brett's final season in GB. And he carved secondaries to pieces. 13-3

My favorite game of the Sherman Era, Farve played one of his all time best games against a defense loaded with all-stars. The Packers had a pretty nice defensive backfield of their own.

The thing I always remember about this game was the pouring rain in the bright sunshine at the end. Strangest thing I have ever seen.

They were good, perhaps the second best team in the league, unfortunately they ran into the greatest show on turf that year in the playoffs, and the rams were just on a different level.

@@navynugget7 and Favre was implosive. The Packers with a non egotistical QB would have and could have beat those Rams. The 01 Packers D played well and was good enough to tame GSOT. Favre just literally threw the game away.
