Scars are quite long if I’m not mistaken. Did they do cqb all the time or did they have shorter barrels for it? Interested to hear. Awesome video Nate. hello, I know that the green beret's and rangers saw a lot of deployments. wanted to ask at anytime did the 5.56 fail you to do enough to protect you and your team. my self if I a choice I would rather have the 6.8 X 43 with 16" barrel or 18". why they went to the 6.8 X 51. If that was gonna replace the 308 as the longer distance cartridge but it has the same recoil as the 308. Where on the other hand the 6.8X43 that barrett more less grab up and started producing for the army back many years ago does not have that kick of the 308. I think they army should just take the 38.X43 as the primary battle rifle and if they want the 277 fury to replace 308 well okay. That 277 fury is gonna kick some people's ass and shoulder in a firefight. At least the shoulder gonna be hurting. I think just an upper change out to the 6.8X43 is all they need.
