Thank you, Thank you, Thank you 🙏... I passed the I-751 interview today ( removal of conditions on my permanent residency ), I feel I went to my interview really well prepared after having watch this video a few times and having incorporated your advice on what to bring to the interview; most importantly, how to present everything to the officer. This video is a MUST watch ( and apply ) before going to one's interview. It is by far the best video of this type I've found. Besides explaining everything clearly and in a way that is easy to understand, you are super personable, it made me feel as if I had in fact hired an attorney for my case. Thanks for what you do. Note: The USCIS agent handling my interview really liked the labels on my pictures; it really makes a difference.

Please can you share how you labeled your pictures. Did you eid them before printing or put labels on the hard copy of the pictures. Thanks.
@Allen.Serrano3 жыл бұрын
@@reematariq2404 I simply typed a brief description of each picture on a Word document, for example; "Christmas dinner at/with...", "Thanksgiving with our family", "At my mother/father in-law's birthday" etc. Make sure to leave space between each description. Once printed just cut them with scissors and place each one on top of corresponding photo. Best of luck at your interview 🙏

@juliahathorn40783 жыл бұрын
What type of labels did you have on the pictures if I can ask? And was it just paper pictures or the actual pictures printed out?
I didn't watch the entire video to see if she mentioned it but "Letter of Support" would be a big plus in proving that the marriage is real. Having neighbors, friends, church-goers/pastors, co-workers, a store clerk that interacts with the two of you regularly, etc.,. You can even write and sign a letter of support to the USCIS that you can bring with you to the interview. Maybe they can go into writing a bit of how they met you two, how long ago they met you two, what they think of you two, maybe special events that you two attended with them, etc. My friend and his wife both work at my workplace and I had written a letter of support for them. I had written how they'd park next to my car and how we would often enter the building together and eat lunch together. I've also gone to the beach many times with them and had gone to family barbeques with them.

I want to thank this channel for its counsel. We went to the Marriage Interview and our adjudicator saw us all the way when we were at the security and it was a blessing. He did not take any of my copies: bank statement, leases, or photos. He took nothing from my evidence file. After 3 days we got the APPROVAL notice through an USCIS case manager Iphone app. I am so happy about the outcome. Praying for y’all who are still yet attend an interview. Be prepared for all kinds of questions. That's why this video is awesome.

This is the most helpful video I've seen on the topic so far. Really good ideas for supporting docs that we hadn't thought of. We also got a chuckle out of the *chef's kiss* about babies/children. We just found out we're pregnant and our interview is less than two weeks away so this little one has really good timing! Edit: With all our preparation, the interview was a breeze. We were approved on the spot and my husband's green card came in the mail in less than a week!

It would be nice if you could make another short video regarding the same topic for those couples living in different countries (who can’t file taxes returns as married/ don’t have joint financial records etc) It would be great have these questions clarified. Courtney Morgan-Greene Thank you :) I live in India and my wife lives in TX. Our i130 petition was approved recently. We are now in the process of uploading documents to CEAC for NVC processing. While filling the ds-260 form, we realised that one of the employment history (both mine and my wife’s), we missed to fill in the i130. Now that we realised, we’d like to upload a document explaining that we missed filling that info. Would that help to explain mismatch or is there an alternative solution for that :) Any help/ advise would be greatly appreciated. Also, since I don’t live with my wife in the US, she has filed the tax return as single. Initially we tried (married separately option). This had to be done manually and couldn’t be done online (since I’m not a US resident and I don’t have ITIN). So we sent the package to the IRS. Even after 8 weeks, they had not received our package. That’s why we chose the option of filing as single since it could be filed online quickly. Would this hurt us or should we explain all this in a document and upload it to the CEAC? Awaiting your response for these two question, Courtney. Thank you.

They didn't let my lawyer be inside the room when we had the interview. But I had gathered a lot of info since we got together to show that we were real. I even got a doctor's ultrasound showing that I was 3 months pregnant. It was funny because I was responding to basically every question even though he was the one been interviewed lol 😆 That man knew we were together because I was controlling like a traditional wife usually is 😆 I took my whole wedding book like 100 pictures lol poor man he was overwhelmed with paperwork I had a whole box full papers lol I took our season passes to a water park anything that had both of our names on it. But know we are applying for naturalization we shall see how it goes 😊

I’m soo glad I found this! Please can you advise us. I live in UK been married 13 yrs and we have 2 kids (4 & 9). I have filed for EB3 as a nurse and am at NVC stage awaiting approval of documents. About 2 yrs ago my wife and I fell out as she wanted to live near London (3hrs drive away) and I didn’t (we split up) we got back together 18 months ago but because the kids are in a good school and my US employer wanted me to stay at my hospital in my ICU specialty up here in Liverpool we decided I would stay up here and see each other every 2 weeks in my house and hers vice versa. We obviously live in 2 locations because of the above. My attorney said I must prove that we are a ‘couple’ but won’t elaborate, please can you advise us? We are obviously a couple, we have kids and I mostly commute an awful lot to see my wife and kids and we talk on phone, FaceTime and etc. I will interview first at US Embassy and then my wife and kids later ‘follow to join’ as my US employer in Orlando wants me alone for 3 months training before my family arrives so we technically wouldn’t be at the interview at the same time? PLEASE PLEASE CAN YOU ADVISE US?

Hi Gary, For a following to join case, very little is required in terms of proof that the marriage is real. That you have children and intend to live at the same address in the US is typically enough. Good luck!

Question - Husband is in the USA, is a USA citizen and has USA income. Wife is a Chinese, has no USA income and cannot get a Social Security Number because she has no USA presence. They have been married for 7 years, were married and lived in China. Husband cannot have wife on a USA tax return because wife is neither Canadian or Mexican. By USA law, husband must file as SINGLE. They cannot create any joint bank accounts in the USA because wife cannot get a Social Security Number and China does not allow joint bank accounts where one person is a foreigner. Same with utility bills and debt instruments. Any suggestions for them?

A little confued on the 2 years thing. What is my girlfriend is here on a b1-b2 visa? If we want to get married and go through an adjustment of status we would apply for a green card immediately after we got married... if we waited then she would have to overstay her visa... which can run into other problems. What if you apply for a green card for somebody who is on an overstayed visa? Do they ask about that?

@@nedlalley6314 there is no criminal thing involved in this, but my attorney wasnt good ebough to handle my case. I came to know about this when harm was done. When my wife had chat with immigration specialist attorney.

Sorry for your situation. There are estimated millions of undocumenteds in this country. Why did they signal out you? A person with wife and daughter? Did you file for marriage visa? It doesn't make sense that homeland would even know about you.

Overstayed visa (parents brought me here), no personal tax records (haven't worked here legally), but I entered lawfully. Married less than a year ago at a courthouse. Lots of photos, evidence of a almost 3 year relationship, social media evidence over the 3 years, bank account together and the same address. One pet together as well. Lots of text and call history across multiple apps. But not a ton of legal documents. Lots of friends and family to vouch for us though. Are we hopeless?

This is going to be tricky for me as we live in 2 different countries. And his culture and religion says you don't do joint anything. Neither do you post your personal life for the world to see especially your relationship. I've told my friends maybe I can screen shot some conversations I've had with them? But posting where all can see nah. I know a few trouble makers in my immediate family best to avoid that

In that situation, immigration will not expect taxes and a bank account. Just provide what you can - you have a logical explanation for the rest which is all they need.

If the marriage is under two years old, U.S. Immigration Services will issue a temporary Green Card. Some people, if they are close to the two-year mark, choose to wait and file after the two-year mark to avoid the I-751 process.
