Am I the only one that has noticed that the multi-part Green Day songs are the best? (Christie Road, Jesus of Suburbia, American Eulogy etc.) I mean obviously all Green Day songs are fucking awesome but still...

new green day isn't emo in the slightest, their music is still upbeat, fast and catchy, they just get called 'emo' because they wear skinny jeans and eye liner
@juliejay84917 жыл бұрын
jamiemcm2007 a song is supposed to be catchy
@bella79477 жыл бұрын
People call them emo because emo people listen to them, just because an emo kid listens to a song doesn't mean the song or band that made it is emo

@PaulGibson100 could be using a different pedal/different effects. or it could be that this and 1039/smoothed out slappy hours were recorded by a different record company than the rest. so ya know different equipment too. and then im also pretty sure that 1039 was done in theyre garage, but idt this one was. it mytve been though and theres another reason it soundz different

@winstonsmith09 How can you be on anyone's side when they are that ignorant?? That's like saying, "It's OK to not graduate high school." I was in 6th grade when I bought this CD. The guy selling it to me said, "Do you know what you're buying? This is one of the greatest albums ever made!" At the time, I took him for granted. Obviously, he was right.

Perhaps from a psuedo-philosophical point of view, but from a sociological, psychological, biological, physiological and philosophical point of view, labels are more intrinsically important than the people who fall under it. Nothing can be achieved through individual effort, individual effort is important only when applied in a group. Green Day is a label, it's the name of a band. But Billie Joe is an important individual in that group, as is Mike and Tre.
