Doesn't seem at all as a song Billie would have composed in the 90s, but in an alternate timeline this is exactly how it would have sounded on Dookie
@jasonadriel6 ай бұрын
For me it seems more appropriate on Nimrod or maybe Warning/Cigarettes and Valentines

Unrealistic, can hear the bass
@thisiskevin927952 ай бұрын
Because in Dookie , the bass was louder .
@soacespacestation85562 ай бұрын
@thisiskevin92795 Makes sense. I can barely hear the bass in a vocal bass drum mix that removed guitars unlike Dookie where I can distinguish the bass in Welcome To Paradise when it kicked in and the ending of the song where Mike didn't follow the guitar for a split moment. It doesn't feel like it's part of the guitar which can be a good or bad thing depending on where it is. Not hearing the bass would be quite problematic in Longview during the non guitar parts and the riff in Welcome To Paradise.
