Our fate is sealed. Move away from cities. Stock seeds, rice, beans etc. We are only in the very beginning stages of a catastrophic future no doubt about it. Stronger storms, rising oceans, wars for resources, lawlessness. Prep your family. Each year will bring hotter temps, increasing immigrants, more expensive items. Less and less living and more and more surviving....

The cheapest method, by far and away, of extracting CO2 from the atmosphere, and disposing of it for many many millennia, is to fertilise ocean algae. This is to be done specifically beyond the edge of the continental shelf, and at the latitude of the two tropics, Capricorn and Cancer. The reason these sites are chosen is because they are historically the least productive, fisheries wise, and thus have the least impact on indigenous and local communities, and commercial fishing. The process involves the spreading of the ocean surface with plain iron ore (iron oxide being the growth limiting factor for algae). This results in algal blooms that consume enormous volumes of CO2 from the water column, that go on to become either food for various marine life, or die to rain down their consumed CO2 into the oceanic abyssal plains, thus being locked into long-term ocean-floor sedimentary rock layers. The iron ore can be directly dug up from the ground from any number of sites around the world, and must simply be crushed to be made available for spreading and consumption by the algae. Not only does this method remove CO2 from the water column, but it also combats the rise in ocean acidity by removing the carbonic acid that is precipitated from the atmosphere and into the oceans.
