Not quite, gameplay is always first and foremost in the vast majority of games. You're not gonna sit through a game with a great story with shit gameplay/mechanics, it's the reason Order 1886 failed. But a game that is trying to be as cinematic as possible like the usual triple A tripe and have cutscens out the ass that just blow chunksstory wise would suffer regardless.

I can understand the people that are angry about spoilers but in this case we needed them. I was on the fence about getting this game but thanks to your videos, I will not buy it and you saved me money so Thank You very much. Everything about this game is ridiculous. The rings fly off when the bearer dies, not hang around for some schmuck to just plop it on. Not to mention they all had to work together to get the ring off of King Shark when it was barely on his pinkie. Although I will say that Emerald Jaws coming out of the water was kind of cool.

It seems they are overlooking some key variables regarding what constitutes a Green Lantern and who can become one. The ring seeks out individuals who possess qualities such as courage, integrity, and a commitment to justice. Simply killing a Green Lantern does not automatically imbue someone with these qualities. I can't imagine fans will be okay with this oversight. I've also noticed others discussing that the gameplay was lacking as well. It appears they've spent a lot of time on aspects that do not contribute to a well-rounded experience.

Honestly, despite the lore ass fuckery, this is my favourite one just because it almost works story wise. If they just had a line like "Brainiac disabled the ring's programing" this would of actually been a cool scene, especially were King Shark gets corrupted by this evil ring and his friends have to pull him back almost killing everyone as King Shark resist murdering what little in this world he has. That's ACTUALLY GOOD FUCKING CHARACTER AND STORY WRITING! Hell they actually told a funny joke with Boomerrang happy then scared of Superman stopping the nuke. With the squad finally acting like adults when they thought they were toasted from her Nuke. I almost want to respect this scene as a gem in this 13 year old's edgefest dropped in the sewer of a video game. Edit: RIP Carl Weathers, fucking legend in Predator.
