I am at Bang Krachao nearly every weekend to chill and relax. It`s about 10 to 15 min away from where i live. Its such a nice place! There are some nice places to eat and take pictures and to just hang around, like the "baan makham", "Hiddenwoods" "Bangkok tree house" , the "พบรัก ณ บางน้ำผึ้ง"

Chris, further up the Chao Phraya, there is an island called Koh Kret. It’s an island that was formed when a channel was cut across a meandering section of the river. Since it’s isolated, it’s very much like old Thailand. They are famous for a unique type of pottery and also have an awesome local brewery there called Chit Beer. Please check it out.

Really liked the drone view. It is a beautiful area that seems to be mostly unknown by visitors outside the country so good of you to highlight it. The 1st time I went I drove and parked the car to walk through the market. Too many corners later I couldn't find the car again and was in panic mode for about 1/2 hour before locating it. Good advice to take the boat.

I always wondered about that green area in the middle of Bangkok. Nice to see some of it, and the drone shots made this video amazing! That skyline clip was super.. 7:42 I could put that on canvas and have it on the wall. I asked my native Bangkok friends about that area some time ago, why its not been developed more and the answers i got was partly that the land cant maintain heavy built areas due to being more swampy area and partly because it is the lung of Bangkok and its not worth developing that land seeing how bad the air already is in Bangkok.

When I saw the little boat, my first thought was, "what if this thing capsizes?" Then, my next thought was, "No life jackets!!!" Being someone who can't swim, I'd be really wary of getting in such a tiny boat in a third world country with no life jacket. I realize this is Thailand and I need to adjust my expectations, but I also value my life, especially when it comes to venturing into large bodies of water in tiny rickety, old boats. Great video as always Chris! Keep up the good work!
