Cool I’ve never gone Kokanee fishing any advice far as methods and equipment?

Hello Fredthegamer, well I would say first thing is to have some kind of water craft to get on the water since fishing for kokanee from the bank is not a great way to fish for them. From there you can start by getting some flashers and trolling sinkers and some kokanee lures my favorite are kokaneekid lures, which you can find in some stores or from his webpage. Many other lures work good for kokanee. I would get 1/2/3 oz. trolling sinkers because depending on the fish they could be anywhere from 10 feet down to 80+ feet of water. Usually when there below about 50 feet you will need a downrigger. Top tips get shoepeg corn to tip your lure and trolling at a slow speed between .7 up too 1.4 depends on time of year and water conditions. This information should be a good start.
