I bet the people with horses were not willing to starve their horses to thin 'em down a bit for the show! I know my sister wouldn't. Just kiddin'. I'm sure the mountain men's horses lived on the edge just like the men themselves! In spite of that, it was still fun to watch!

My Greatx4 Grandfather came to Wyoming with Kit Carson,Joe Meek,Doc Newell,and had a partnership with Jim Bridger.... He is buried in Carter Cemetery inside Ft Bridger...Robertson Wyoming is named after him....First irrigated land in Wyoming and Robertson was the first settlement West of Ft Laramie.He was good friends with Sir Drummond.....Duke of Murthy Castle
