I remember watching this pretty soon after it came out and loving it. Anton Yelchin is great, evil Patrick Stuart ate that shit up, and them playing "Nazi Punks Fuck Off" to a bar full of neo nazis is always so satisfying to watch.

Something i've always loved about the movie is that these characters aren't dumb. They aren't like a common horror trope where people continually make dumb decisions that get themselves into even deeper trouble. So it makes everything much more effective when you see just how hopeless their situation is. They're outnumbered and out in the middle of nowhere. One wrong move and they die in an instant. Which really adds to the tension.

RIP Anton Yelchin. Cried watching this with you guys, thinking about how much I’ve enjoyed *everything* I’ve seen him in. So much lost, so much that will never happen now that he’s gone. The line “it’s funny - you were so scary at night” still gives me chills.

This was actually an irrational fear of mine when I used to play in a hardcore band. So when I heard about this movie I loooost it lol

I’m in a punk band and the scariest and most realistic part of this movie is getting paid $6 for a gig.

So happy you reacted to this for us all quickly! This movie is so good, but isn't talked about enough. It is realistically brutal, which is probably why we're all so tense watching it. 😅 Rip to Anton Yelchin, he was so talented. The scene where the lights go out, then Imogen Poots flicks on her lighter, omg I love that shot so much!

This is one of my favourite movies ever. It is shot perfectly and the actors are all awesome. I'm a Punk for almost my entire life and this movie captures this feeling really great. I had also some scary encounters with na*i skins in my youth. I'm really happy I never got stabbed like some friends of mine. I know it is a movie but to me it felt pretty damn real when I first watched it. The dry violence also makes it much more believable. Love this movie!

Its not horrifyingly scary, but in the holiday spirit, y'all should watch the 2015 Krampus! It's my favorite holiday movie and it's actually super entertaining. Plus it has horror QUEEN Toni Collette! What's not to love 🎄

Would definitely recommend this director's other works, especially BLUE RUIN. Jeremy Saulnier's an extremely underrated director. He's great with tense, grounded, stress-inducing stuff.

Green room is more grounded and realistic than Lights Out, thats why ppl in the comments were pushing for this one. And it can happen to anyone in real life too which is even more frightening than Lights Out!!!

I convinced my son and DIL to watch this on one of our movie nights. I could tell they were sort of, "Ok, whatever." It wasn't too long before they were actually on the edge of their seats. I told them, "There's a reason I was williing to watch this for a third time." They loved it. And I love that Cody and Sergio did a reaction on it. These guys have the BEST reaction videos to movies and TV shows that I've seen on KZbin. There are a couple of other react groups that are pretty good, but these guys really stand out, both for their commentary and the editing. So much fun to watch.

I'm currently watching the blonde punk (Imogen Poots) in the Time Travel Sci-fi show "Outer Range" with Josh Brolin about them finding a giant hole on their land. It's my new favorite and a substitute for the Netflix Time Travel shows "Dark" and "Traveller's" since those are finished.

I found Dashcam to be the way better 2022 reverent horror comedy, recommend if you haven’t seen it. The main character is annoying like in Deadstream but the effects and pacing worked way better for me.
