Green Spaces of El Paso

As writers who focus on the outdoors, it was important to us to seek out the places you could hike, bike, and enjoy the views from public lands in and around the city of El Paso. Two public gardens, two state parks, a river valley with bike paths on the levees, and a few city parks later, we were delighted to hike to scenic overlooks and immerse in colorful oases of green in this city in the heart of the Chihuahuan Desert.
