Awesome review John! Having owned a Green Star Elite years ago and now owning a Sana 727, I'd say that even though the San 727 takes longer to juice at 45 rpm. it's a breeze to Clean which for me is a Major Plus; and the Green Star though juicing faster is a monster to clean, which hindered my desire to use it. the differences between them actually balance them out time-wise. The whole juicing process from start to finish, including cleaning, takes around 10 minutes, with the green star most likely exceeding it because of its intricacies. Thanks Again! Now for the J2 vs the Omega VSJ... your New Favorite VS your Old Favorite! And the Sana 727 VS the Omega VSJ; those reviews are in HIGH demand! Thanks for staying true John. We love you!

I use both the Sana 727 and the Sana 848, the Sana 727 is one of the best for greens and the Sana 848 does so well with juicing celery fast, as well as grapefruit and the sorbet. The Sana customer service has been among the most exceptional customer service Ive ever had. Even if I lose a gasket, they'll send a replacement without hesitation, as well as free scrubbing gloves. My glass container shattered and not only did they send a glass container but a plastic coulntainer custom crescent shape molded for the Sana 727 that even fits more juice!

These two juicers need to have a baby. Stainless steel augers/ internal parts, dual auger, with the rest of the Sana 727’s qualities. Sana just needs to up the 727 into a new version with the pros of the Greenstar Elite. The nut oil add-on is awesome, too. I would love to have THAT juicer, but make it affordable. 🤞🏽

SoloStar 4 - $300 Greenstar Pro - $550 Sana 727 - $700 ($1,000 with additional attachments) Angel 8500 - $1,900 - $2,100+ Nama J2 - $550 Personally, for juicing mostly* greens*, I would just go with the SoloStar 4 for the price and convienance. (I'd go with the Greenstar Pro if you plan to do solely leafy greens and grasses in large amounts.) If I was wanting to press my own nut oils like hemp oil, and make sorbets, I would go with the Sana 727 with the additional attachments. FYI, I have both the SoloStar 4 and the GreenStar Pro (among others). I don't use the GreenStar Pro much (very rarely) because (to me) it's a major hassle to clean and to assemble & disassemble. However, if I'm going to be juicing a lot* of certain types of leafy greens and grasses, it's worth the extra hassle because of its effectiveness in juicing and* pulling in leafy greens. The SoloStar 4 is much cheaper and better (especially for things like celery), because it's so much easier, quicker to clean and assemble, disassemble. I use my vertical Omega VRT350 more than anything though (note - I don't juice straight leafy greens but very rarely anymore), but I'm considering getting the Nama J2 as it seems to be the easiest juicer overall for most types of produce. (Soft fruits I prefer to vacuum blend.) I'm trying to heal leaky gut and for that cabbage is highly recommended. Unfortunately most horizontal juicers don't have very large, wide feed chutes (nor my Omega vertical juicer) so juicing cabbage takes a very long time. I've found some very cheap ($150) vertical juicers with large feed chutes on Amazon, but I'm not sure they could handle juicing large quantities of cabbage on a regular basis. Some reviews are favorable for that purpose, but I don't want to buy something that is going to do a so-so job. Cabbage is pretty mushy and tends to jam. The Nama J2 would simplify things greatly and enable me to be much more consistent about juicing (especially cabbage). Combine it with a fan for heat dissipation (for longer sessions) and the vacuum pumps and I could juice everything I need for a week once or twice a week quite easily. (Juicing 2 heads of cabbage in my current Omega VRT350 vertical style juicer takes about 2+ hours including cleanup and frees about 1.5 liters of juice. I'm supposed to drink 1 liter per day so for now I'm just drinking 500 ml (half a liter) per day and juicing once every 3 days. I could cut the juice and cleanup time - with the Nama J2 - for 2 heads of cabbage to probably 20-45 minutes. That's a huge time savings. And totally worth it the expense and hassle - with juicing and drinking cabbage juice - if it enables to heal from my leaky gut and food allergies, along with diet changes.) I don't doubt the Angel 8500 is quality built, but I don't personally think it's worth anywhere near the selling price compared to its competition.

I have a GreenStar Elite juicer and I would bet that if John used the full 9 minutes to juice the pulp with the GSP, the GSP would have given the best yield. Just a tip, before you try to take the GSP apart, after juicing, unscrew the outlet adjusting knob and then run the juicer one last time to evacuate more of the pulp. This will make the rest of the disassembly easier.

I made my decision for the Sana 727 based on cleaning and general ease of assembly. I don't store juice, so I wanted a juicer so easy to use that I'd never hesitate to make juice. I juice from 1-3 times daily and no regrets! I love my juicer and I feel it does a very good job. In particular, low fruit/low sugar green juices are particularly lovely tasting! So far I have only used the 40rpm speed to juice. But at the tail end, I speed the machine up to be sure the last of the pulp has gone through. My minute of impatience! 😂

There's no better Machine for a Quick juice, 2, 3 or 5 or 6 Than The Sana 727. However - The SANA 727 & THE GREENSTAR PRO I've found to be equal in quality. If your not BULK Juicing much - The SANA 727 I think is the best choice. When Juicing becomes an Habitual lifestyle - Add the Greenstar Pro. We have looked at Goodnature juicers also. Please note they post recipes on the Goodnature website that are designed to make 12 fluid ozs of juice. We confirmed this thru a series of emails with GN. We find that our Greenstar consistently will make 14-16 ounces of juice from their recipes (we have tried many, they are really good too!). We closely weigh each ingredient and often measure yield %. We feel the GS has a higher yield, and this higher yield is likely due to better grinding by the Greenstar. Can’t wait for Johns review!!

The greenstar has magnetic grinders to prevent the energy in the produce from being distorted. What about the Sana 727? Which juicer has the juice last the longest after juicing? Which one maintains the energy integrity?
@discountjuicers
@discountjuicers Жыл бұрын
That is difficult to say. The 727 running at 40rpm introduces less air into the juice, but does not have the FIR/magnetics in the juice. Furthermore the Green Star will extract more nutrients due to the stainless steel gears grinding vs plastic grinding on the 727. If I had to say one juice had more energetics, its the GreenStar, of course this is my personal opinion.
@AlWesley-p4t

@@discountjuicers so the best juicer would be if the Sana 727 created a new one with stainless steel grinders that were also magnetic. after several videos about the Sana 727 i still say since i already have a $500 investment in my Omega(bought from DJuicers) -- so it seems FOOLISH to buy a Sana for another $600 when the two are so similar-- **BUT i still wish Omega would make an IMPROVED FROUNT END for the NC8000 !!!! TWO POINTS OF CONCERN are the Shoot Size and A better Funnel *like i said before that FLAT Funnel on my Omega is a terrible mess for feeding GREENS- especially the BAGGED PRE WASHED Spinach that i use most of the time- and a bigger shoot would allow the spinach to loosely fall into the juicer- and with a large funnel that would hold handfulls(even 10 or 16 ozs) of spinach and then i could use my AFTER MARKET PUSHER to gently push into the Auger- that pusher is about half the diamter of the shoot so it just helps the spinach go down

I agree, but think he should’ve done a comparison of both - 120rpm vs 40rpm (but I know, too laborious). Guessing the Greenstar would’ve performed better with having the dual auger, but the Sana having the slower rpm options is a huge pro for me.
@RC-br1ps
@RC-br1ps 2 жыл бұрын
If the comparison is to determine which machine produces the best output quality and quantity given their capabilities, then the use of the variable speed and lowest setting makes sense. If the comparison is to see which machine juices fastest and which also produces the best quantity and quality _then_ juicing at 120 rpm makes sense.

I can't see the advantage of the Greenstar Pro given the limitation of the motor's run time of one-half hour vs the 727's virtually unlimited run time and it's a more complicated machine with more parts to take apart and clean. The 727 seems like a breeze to take apart and clean. However it does seem like the Greenstar is sturdier and will last longer but only time will tell if that's true. As I type this the Sana 727 is about $70 more than the Greenstar Pro. By the way check out the link below to see what NOT to do with your slow juicer. kzbin.info/www/bejne/d4WllWuEqZt-g6s

I do not sell nor can I recommend Angel juicers. This is because I sent them $3k in prepayment for juicers and they went out of business and kept my money. Later they restarted operations, and still did not send me the juicers. I made a video to share my experience, and instead of making it right, they sent a lawyer after me to make me take the video down. Sharing my further opinions on this topic: 1. they are overpriced for what they are. I would rather someone buy a less expensive juicer and use the difference to put in a garden and grow their own high quality food. 2. I have gotten customer feedback from Angel juicer owners that did not get customer service and have a non functional (expensive machine) 3. If the company goes away or refuses to take care of the customers, even the most expensive juicer is not worth the materials it is made of, in my opinion.
