Not sure anyone else has mentioned it, but the intros and title sequence are really well done! It is so neat seeing yall a week behind where we were. The conch salad at RJs was good too. Whale cut was a good sail also. So exciting! So happy for you guys

Indeed! I'm a retired land lubber living vicariously, and I agree that the intros and title sequence are very professional. Well done!

Shannon has been AMAZING at getting the videos put together. Definitely a lot more work than originally thought, but we will continue to get get better! I (Rob) am getting lessons on how to make the videos as well so I can help!

Boy! You guys are looking like full time sailors! Everyone seems relaxed & working as a team. Good job Shannon for keeping your family so cohesive❤❤

Looks like all your provisioning before you left was worthwhile!
@SailingParadiseFalls5 ай бұрын
It served us well all throughout the Bahamas and even into Panama. We really did not re-provision until Panama (almost 6 months later). I've learned to stock up on chips, diet coke, water enhancers as these are hard to come by and expensive!

Davis will be fine. He is adjusting to his new lifestyle. It’s a life that sounds all glorious to an adult but change is hard for kids his age. If possible, try to find a boat with kids on it for him to hang out with for a bit. It will improve his outlook when he can see the lifestyle from the perspective of a peer.

We have sought out kid boats...It's going to get better. He's coming around, albeit at a snails pace!

Thank you! We have recently found kid boats and it has helped! It’s been an adjustment for everyone!!

Give Davis sometime, he’ll come around. As a side note, I know it is extremely difficult snorkeling, but if you just hover over the reefs, it is amazing what pops out.

Yep. He will get there. It's eye opening what pops out of the reef sometimes!

Looks beautiful are fun out there. Davis will be single handling the boat in no time.

Someday he'll realize just how great his adventure is compared to 99.9% of everyone he will ever meet! Hopefully he realizes it sooner than later. Donate for a Dream

I would just say that Davis shows pretty typical developmental response for his age. I have dealt with many his age and the glues one day are normal. And I would half expect it magnifies with the upheaval.

I think we all are still adjusting to this life. Sitting at a dock is easy as you can get off and go for a walk. On anchor is a WHOLE different story. You add 10 additional steps and 20 minutes to the simple task of just leaving the boat.

Thank you! Yes, he has found other boat kids so his attitude is improving, finally😊
@angeltyson19668 ай бұрын
No I think you need to check his attitude and stop catering to his bad behavior, be honest with hm he’s the child and he has no choice in the matter he’s there and he needs together over himself. Your the adult he’s the child period ❤ I love you and your husband and yes some times Jackson but when he shows disrespect towards his mother , no not cool

He's getting huge lessons that most kids never get. He is slowly changing for the better. It's a work in progress for sure.
@SailingParadiseFalls8 ай бұрын
We totally agree. It’s pretty much been a suck it up buttercup attitude that we are being less tolerant of his behavior. He is realizing boundaries so a little less attitude and fewer disrespectful remarks but still a work in process! Thanks for your comment😊
