Uta first or second turn deck?

Either way works well. You will generally want to just break the other person curv. If you go 1st on the 7 luffy/4c uta block combo you can also use her effect and move a rested don under leader for the 6k swing and card draw. If you go go 2nd then you will once again be able to play 9c Shanks or 9c Zoro and have a extra don for leader effect.

I managed to get 2 Uta decks and plan to replicate your deck. Is this the best Uta deck and do you plan on making any changes in the deck?

I am doing a lot of play testing with this deck it is super fun! I have taken this into the Treasure Cup this weekend and got a lot of experience. On navigating this deck. I may make a couple changes to try and counter Blue Doffy. I will be doing more play testing and will see how it feels this week at locals.

Shanks is a 4 of imho 🗡🗡🗡🗡 I see so many folks swear by Zoro for green, but he's almost always auto removed when up against Black or Blue. He rarely ever sticks for me. Backlight might need to be 4 of in light of no Hody Jones. Also, I found Gordon a nice bit of tech since he's such a cheap Blocker. With 9 don, if you aren't dropping Shanks or Zoro, you can 7c Luffy>4c Uta Blocker, then Uta ability 1 don onto leader, then use 2 don for Gordon as well. That way you get draw with Leader swing and establish 3 different tiers of blockers on one turn. Really annoyed someone in one of my matches with this blockade. I'm not convinced that Nami is super necessary any more since you're getting draw nearly every turn with Leader. I've seen builds that swap her for the vanilla Usopp so that you at least get more counter. Uta isn't quite optomized yet, but the new structure deck helped A LOT. Tons of new options. I'm even considering the Where the Wind Blows event just to catch people off guard 🤔 Great list! Thanks for sharing your build.

Zoro is such a great card in so many matches. It's nearly an auto win into B/Y Luffy also. I do find i try to bait out removals with shank more first since u get to clear a big body before he is removed. Most matches normally have answers for 2 to 3 removals. So normally you can play pretty safety after a shanks or 2 can be played. Uta right now feels great into most matches. Everything but Blue Doffy and even Lucci can be a tough fight. I will be making some changes since I got a lot of play testing in this weekend doing the Treasure cup. So a updated video should be coming up soon.

Im running where the wind blows as 2 of and def a nice late game surprise. Im gonna try the gordon possibly and might remove nami since new genesis is free and so is leader ability with new uta blocker

@@Average-00 I know the feel. I bought one of mine when she was still 25 bucks :p I think she can still be a 2 of, but with so much draw now, I just never find myself necessarily wanting a specific card. New Genesis is strictly better I think, but if you want that safety net of a couple more searchers, she's still a good card. She'll just get popped easily as a 3 cost, unfortunately, so you might not get more draw from her on the following turn, which means you essentially spent 4 don on just one search :/ I dunno, still have to play test the build more. Keep trying her out if you like the card!

I went 3-0 at my locals with Uta and beat a Doffy in finals.

We had a bunch of players playing Blue Doffy. I ended up running into one during the last match. B/Y Luffy/Boony/Lucci/Doffy I have gone X-1 a couple times also. Blue Doffy is 100% one of the hardest match up. I'm sure we will see a ton more. Since Doffy is 100% one of the top 3 decks. I will need to rethink lines and see if we can tech more into that match up.

Very nice my dude congrats! I got super lucky and got the win vs Doffy also! It is a super hard match up as people are playing it more and can navigate it more effervescently. I would like to do a little more play testing and tweak this deck a little more to try and counter Doffy. What winner card did you end up getting

B/Y Luffy/Boony/Lucci/Doffy after more testing vs Doffy It looks like I got super lucky. The Doffy match up is super tough. I will need more play testing to see if we have a better line at winning for sure. If they high roll and find 2 Jinbe combo and have Law and Jozu Combo. The game just becomes un-winnable.

100% I will always be trying my best to cook with Kaido every season. We have been play testing and trying to make him more consistent. I will be checking to see have to sit down again and revisit to see if the new starter decks bring anything new to the table.

No kid currently was trying to keep this mostly film package. even with 96% film package I have bottom deck Zoro many times lol. This is a much more aggressive play style.
