Building a DOOA TERRA BASE - Silent scaping with Daniel

Daniel will show you the full step-by-step tutorial on creating one, so you can easily do it later. How much moss is needed? At what most places like Buceplant and aquarium plants factory charge I think I’d need $50 in moss.

Is it possible to use glue to fix the moss, instead of DOOA Terra Line?

In case of these Terra Base setups we don't recommend using glue, because you could fill the pores of the ceramic and stop its ability to provide water to the plants.

It drain in a week or so. But if you want to keep the top of the Terra Base wet you'll have to fill it regularly. You can add floaters or any plants inside.

Beautiful! I purchased a large Terra Base but been having issues with it, do you find condensation constantly obscure’s the Terra Base from view and yellow stained water seeps out filling the bottom of the glass? Wondering if this is normal or I’m doing something wrong?

You probably need more aeration. Try lifting the top a bit more. Don't no about the water seeps.

How long can the lighting be on in such an arrangement? Is there a chance of algae if we keep the humidity high?

You can have long light cycle if you want. You won't get algae in an emersed setup but too much humidity can grow mold.

Daniel didn’t properly read the notice: you should first put the whole Terra base in a bucket of water before planting it. Then, why putting Dooa wabi mist on a empty Terra base? Haha Finally the glue is wrong and the wrapping technique isn’t good… Not sure how serious this tutorial really is, I’ll stick with the Ada one.
