Met Niall in a departure lounge at Heathrow Airport, lovely fella and happy to chat and have photos with a (mainly drunk) football fan.....he has fingers like bananas!! Massive man and a massive gentleman.......love the fella........

I really liked Niall as a footballer, but I like him even more after seeing this interview with Gay Byrne. We sometimes seem to forget that us "mortals" put these celebrities, so to speak, on a pedestal and when something goes wrong in their life, we're quick to judge. We forget that they're human and when you hear from them and what they have been through in their lives, I for one, have a lot more respect for them, especially when they turn their lives around for the better. A great interview from the late Gay Byrne. RIP Gay.

Had the pleasure of meeting Mr Quinn when he was at Arsenal. I must have been about 12 and there was this Giant soon to be legend asking ME questions about MY life. A proper gent.

Niall was a decent player and seens like a very normal,decent fella!..But one thing u notice about footballers is for the most part they exist in such a bubble..And the clubs,aka ' Corporations' really could do a lot more to impress upon these guys that need to prepare for their futures!
