兩位移英港人，Norrica 和 Opal，剛到英國時，因懼怕用英文溝通，經常留在家中。就算鼓起最大勇氣，嘗試不靠兒女獨自外出，乘搭公共交通時，因突如其來的乘客廣播已恐慌，不知如何是好。真的只能留在家中做家務，送孫上學放學，看香港電視節目嗎？移英後就不可以想像和發掘「Me Time」嗎？
Norrica 與 Opal 拒絕「自困式生活」，參加移英港人組織 Trafford Hongkongers CIC 舉辦的免費英文班。英文班的港人導師深明用傳統英文教學法，未必能短期內改善他們的英文溝通能力，怎樣加點創意，設計「另類」課程幫助他們？
Norrica 為了盡快融入英國社區生活，更膽粗粗參加鉤針編織班。遇著看上去霸氣十足的英國女導師，更要求 Norrica 在班中用全英文對話。最終，Norrica 會放棄嗎？
Two Hongkongers in the UK, Norrica and Opal, initially struggled with fear of speaking English, often staying at home. Even when they gathered the courage to go out alone without relying on their children, unexpected passenger announcements on public transport would leave them panicked and unsure of what to do. Were they destined to stay home, doing housework, picking up their grandchildren from school, and watching Hong Kong TV shows? Did moving to the UK mean giving up on discovering their own "Me Time"?
Determined not to live in self-imposed isolation, Norrica and Opal joined a free English class organized by Trafford Hongkongers CIC. The Hongkonger instructors understood that traditional English teaching methods might not quickly improve their communication skills. How could they add creativity and design an "alternative" course to help?
To integrate into the local community, Norrica took a bold step and joined a crochet class. Faced with a strong-willed British instructor who insisted on full English conversations in class, would Norrica persevere or give up?
