Very nice haul Dave! I look forward to your cleaning up video on your 671 turbine, and the restoration video on your A/C Gilbert steam locomotive. They should be fun videos to watch.

Thanks for watching. I started on the Lionel Turbine. It shouldn't take too long. I'm excited about that one. The American Flyer Gilbert will probably wait a couple weeks, but that should run good.

Nice purchases there. That turbine Lionel I've seen on an old VHS tape that my mom got years ago it had commercials on it. Lionel, American flyer, ahm was on them. That turbine locomotive be used on Joe DiMaggio show with Lionel trains. The turbine locomotive they were pushing was at least going at full throttle and they were telling how much magnatraction but had four more Pull and climb up steep inclines. Escuela unique thing to see. My dad is more into the lionel then I am . My brother currently has my dad's collection because of where it was being stored moisture was getting into the customized wooden cases that my great-grandfather made. If I find pictures I had or video I'll send it your way so that way you get to see how these things were made. I don't know what he used but it look like it was an old drawer from something and he fitted it with shelving and a sliding door with handles on each end so you can carry it benstore track inside it. Great-great-grandfather was very unique. I haven't gone to any train shows yet except for the one in Springfield Massachusetts and the other one in Worcester Mass in the beginning of the year. I don't know of any offhand nearby me but right now I got other things going on such as car repairs thankfully it's under warranty. Take care David

You can never have enough horns, Dave. Nice Pennsy passenger cars. Is that the 6-8-6 pulling them? It's Lionel, we don't need no stinkin' reverse. 😂 Make sure the wires are attached where they need to be on the tender pickups and sound the whistle. We had one at the shop, and a wire just needed soldering. Thanks for sharing. 👍🐾👍

I'm up to my elbows in the Turbine right now. The problem with the reverse is the E-unit drum is dirty, but you know me, I had to take it all apart! Video coming soon! Horns and side covers, they're always missing!
