Fun Facts: The song is sung as Billie is talking or sending a message to his mother, after moving out of her house. The first verse is Billie talking to his mother after weeks of leaving her place, telling her that he's scared about being on his own. The second part describes Billie writing to her after a few months of living at his own place, now being happy to live on his own.

Hey it doesn't matter if the crowd is in their 40's or 50's. Hell, I'm 54 and, have been playing guitar for 44 years and, Bass for 42 years! I have to say I've always loved their music! I always will! They are super talented and knock the balls off every song they play! They are one SUPER Tight Band! I've even have an older brother named Billy Joe, also a Bass Player and, his oldest son is Billy Joe Jr. better known as B.J. I know it's spelled different but, who gives a shit! The first time I heard these guys play many moons ago, I said they will make it! KEEP ON ROCKIN IT GUYS! I'll keep listening and playing along with you! THANKS!!!!! I played this song at an open mic once and dedicated it to my hometown: Rochester, MN. Or as I like to call it, Buzz Kill Central. "Longview" is what it feels like being here and there's no entertainment, no decent hangouts, all you've pretty much got here is work so sorry if you visit and you're hoping for fun activities.
