Not at all,, its good for slow air unit like kirov, helicopter, rocketers, and ufo.. but if vs a group or harrier (up to 10 Harriers), they can escape from Aegis.

That's why i did the last test First tests were "manual" fire, more exactly i edited Aegis to auto use Manual Targeting

Way point attack patrol will automatically use manual fire. Though it will move in a certain path and has a slight delay in targeting than direct mouse click manual. Still, it's very good.

It's telling with the Elite Aegis where you can tell it goes from Fleet Defense mode (Target threats further out/near max range to kill before it becomes dangerous) to Self Defense Mode when it switches to protecting itself first by targeting closest target

But that's not true? It's clearly coming from a single point in the middle of the model, and then the direction in which it fires moves counter-clockwise in a frontal arc.

Иджис действительно очень силен против воздушных целей. Три Иджиса в группе способны дать непроницаемый зонтик (разве что количеством не задавят). Однако уязвимы против подлодок, кальмаров и Тани и диверсантов морских котиков (в противном случае он был бы слишком имбовым). По сравнению с ним морской скорпион вообще фуфло, годится только фейерверки пускать (даже скопление ракетчиков с трудом подавляет).

Смысл скорпиона,ракетчиков да и пво Советов в том. Чтобы сбивать группы летающих войск. А именно Рокетов и самолеты. Их броня не столь крепка,и они часто находятся рядом друг с другом что позволяет советам сбивать нескольких ща раз. Пока у альянса другая сторона, точечный удар по цели

Not often you go up against big air play naval wise as allies. Other factions don't have crazy air threats like raptors and jetpacks. They do help versus flying disks, assuming you haven't gotten boomered out of the water (boomers are way too cheap for being basically 2 attack subs strapped to a missile boat)

Just remember this is a different version than current CNCNET of the game. In current version kirovs explode on death damaging anything it falls on. Also they drop their bombs while in route to a target or location on units so the aegis cruisers would have been destroyed.

That doesn't matter. This is a test about Aegis' firepower. You could just move it to the side a bit. Aegis got quite a range.

Kirovs have always damaged anything they fall on. As for the Kirovs dropping bombs on enemy while on route? That's part of the optional balance patch included with CNCNET version. If you turn it off, it doesn't have this.

You aren't wrong that the game isn't well balanced. Absolutely agree. But Aegis cruiser isn't all that imbalanced considering it is a moderately expensive, high tech, water only AA unit.

Aegis is very balanced. It's a unit with a specific purpose that it excels at. Anti-air on water. That's all it can do. As for other balance. If the developers had a decade to balance there game it would be just as balanced as mental omega is. They've been working on that for years
