these microhydro projects are extremely cool. i have dreaning to somewhere middle of forest in somekind of cabin and produce my own energy by someind microhydro and be as self-sufficient as possible also other kind like grow my own food keep some animals like chickens nad maybe a cow and donkey and couple of cats and couple of dogs and also hunt some of my meet.

since i am Indonesian, i hope the main purpose of the organization is for humanity.. i don't know its management rules but i hope after they've got BEP (break event point), the payment of electricity is lower than before, means the payment is only based on fix cost for maintenance, spare parts, also manpower and small overhead expenses.. of course make the BEP forecast for long term to make it less in payment.. i knew there are many government funding in several ministry for its concern, but we can't put our hope on them.. lol in other hand, i hope LIPI (Indonesian government research of science) will find the best efficient mhp system based on every different demographics areas.

Agreed. But it would be improved if they could give at least 1 example of an actual implementation, covering: (1) Feasibility parameters - Head, Flow, Expected Power (2) Cost Estimate (3) Time taken to implement the project (4) Number of personnel needed -- Engineers, Workmen (welders, concrete layers, etc.), Management Team (5) Actual Cost (6) Revenue.

I Have always thought of the nice reliable waterfalls and all year round rivers that can generate sufficient power that in turn can create a lot of job opportunities for the community in this area, if this power potential could be utilized. I started by building on using bicycle wheel that costed me a lot of money but did not work efficiently. I am a volunteer willing to help to my capability, I involve the community by training the on modern method of farming but the community luck this basic commodity of power to live a better live for they are poor. please help me implement this project.
