Used to do this when i was young. My parents had pigs, everyday one of my duties was to cook food for the pigs, sometimes sweet potato tops, kang kong, banana trunk. Watching you takes me back to those days. Kind of miss it. You have a great lifestyle.

You have your hands full and now those 12 piglets.. good luck 🤞 😂they need more feeding container to separate them feeding they got bigger and their heads got too larger for all 12 with 2 containers to fed properly.. your cassava eaten with butter 🧈 delicious or when finished boil add butter or oil in a pot cut up an onion 🧅 chives and peppers 🌶️ and fried it up for 2 minutes and enjoy with some fried fish.. yummy 😋..give it a try🍀🙏🎄🌹🤶🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦

Hi Robert I love the cassava you cooked for yourself. It's fluffy, creamy and I am sure it tastes as delicious as you described. I only wish I could try it myself! Thank you for the tips on how to cook perfect cassava using the double cook method of boiling followed by dry pan roasting. I am not surprised the city folks love your cassava. I am delighted to see there were a few male customers this time. I guess the men folk in Vietnam also recognise high quality produce when they see it. The lady in the red jacket clearly adored your cassava from tasting it previously and bought the whole lot. I wonder if this was for her own consumption or for resale? Whatever her motive, she is a good ally and I love the way she promoted your cassava to the other customers. The banana trunk, cassava and cornmeal combo you prepared for the pigs looked equally delicious, from their perspective of course. Lucky pigs, I say - being treated so well as usual!

@@felycalpito2899 Hi Fely I was as puzzled over the incident. My assumption (only a wild guess) is that Robert was being generous and offered the lady three extra cassava tubers for free. The lady most probably thought that Robert meant the whole purchase was free of charge and therefore decided to pay the lady in the red jacket instead. I thought Robert did look a little uncomfortable, but I might be wrong in my assumption altogether.

One small suggestion, while digging the cassava, then and there itself if you plant some fresh stems , that would give you yield through out the year.

@@Greenforestlife Collect your stems and small tubers and plant in a different part of the farm. Good practice to always rotate crops. Also, the deep tubers of the cassava do a great job of opening up and improving the soil. Any small tubers that are left behind can grow as volunteers as an interplanting with the next crop you plant in that location - and when they mature-they are a happy bonus ! 😊
