Most of the time these guys aren't even using them. I'm not an athlete but it seems it should be mandatory to use a piece of safety equipment like that. Instead you see QB's putting their mouth guard in the opening on their helmet after the play and next play? Still in the top of the helmet!!!

Tua should think about switching shoulder pads as well something with a larger back profile so when he lands on his back his head will be propped up off the ground slightly as some of his injuries are caused from hitting the back of his head on the ground (he lands awkward compared to most people)

Something a lot of snow skiers do as well we wear backpacks so if we do fall on our backs we land first on our backpack and usually saves us from smacking our head on the ground

The Keon Colman thing is kinda ritual. I did it in college with lacrosse. Changing gear to match the other team is just kinda a competition thing.

I know this is a crazy take and I know this helmet has been out of the league several years but the og Revolution I loved those at one point those was the thing! Folks today call them buckets but they use to be top notch helmets! Sure wish they was updated to stick around 😂

Yes! The Riddell Speed Victor-I helmet is a great helmet option for youth football. If you're looking for something more protective though, Vicis 02 Youth helmets are fantastic as well!

@@greengridiron I love the content you cover I’m so mad my last year of football was 2001 the buying your own helmet an there being multiple helmets to choose from started shortly after the helmets you guy have are so much lighter I was all about different facemasks and the names but we all just had ridell helmets either a dickerson or a dorsett facemask
