I think it is wonderful that Mr. Overton is taking the step to begin his Greening of the American Desert Project. I worked on an Israeli Negev Desert Project, and we had an experienced Team with plenty of volunteer labor. And it is anything but easy. The first Israeli Desert Pioneers faced what you are facing, so I know it can be done, and you are doing it! Best wishes for the endeavor.

Talk about a real battle. I thought I was a sadist working in Florida sugar sand in a zone that gets a few too many freezes to grow anything cool. This guy is going all in! Good luck to him! If he can make it work there he can do it anywhere.
