Problem with Greenland playing in an international competition is that several qualifying games for the World Cup would always have to take place during their winter. Could they even host home games during November? Because their season only takes place in their short summer. Probably need to get that indoor stadium built first, if CONCACAF or some another adminstration let them enter.

They'd be okay to play outside the country if needed, FIFA do allow that. Gibraltar played in Portugal for several years due to a lack of a suitable facility in the home country.

I've been getting more interest about Greenland football over the last few years since they were stopped from playing in Europe, which I think is a good thing as they would do better in conacaf anyway.

Greenland already plays international handball in The North American and the Caribbean Handball Confederation (NACHC). They actually kick ass there. They won the men's championship in 2014, in a tournament held in Mexico City. And they are the reigning champions of women's championship, beating Canada in the 2023 final, and that tournament was even held in Nuuk, Greenland. So why not football also? :)

Sorry to be a pedant, but Greenland voted to leave the European Union in 1985. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greenland?wprov=sfti1#Home_rule_and_self-rule. This is why they are looking to enter CONCACAF.

Greenland are out of the EU, but that has absolutely nothing to do with being in UEFA. UEFA and the EU are not related in any way. You can be a member of UEFA and not of the EU, like all 4 UK home nations post-Brexit, Norway, Switzerland, Serbia and so on.
