Roblox’s mistake was basing them off of real people who had little to no modern (at the time) connection with the company, and by connection I mean direct employment/negotiation. As much as we all hate the corporate Roblox era, but as the platform has become a mainstream entity, they should have taken into consideration their relationship with community members. These Roblox figures were advertised as though they were cartoon characters, however though a brand can uphold a cartoon character’s public image, they cannot control the actions and crimes of real people, some of which were relatively young and had little to no leadership monitoring their actions and behavior. Im like super tired so this might’ve been rambley and incoherent tho. I just think it was a terrible idea to make toys based off of community figures

man, I remember when whototrus made the beak UGC, I was really eager to make a bird-human hybrid thing, and it was just the thing I needed for it later, when all that stuff happened with him, and I learned about it, I felt ashamed for ever buying it, and now that roblox has gotten rid of the item deletion feature, I think it will just be a permanent scar on my inventory I now, however, rock some new bird cosmetics, ones not made by him, so I guess that makes me feel a little better
