I had Laid Back Cycles install a hub motor on my Greenspeed Magnum when I got it last year. I've been super happy with it! Having the motor has been essential to helping me trike farther and for longer. I'm so happy to see the trike can now be bought with a mid-drive motor supported by Greenspeed! Now I just need to convince my wife she needs a trike instead of her upright bike.

If they still made the Anura RL (a delta), a mid-motor or hub motor could be added, as was done to mine.

Sorry to see its here already. I bought a Magnum because it was light, strong, and non-motorized. Didnt hope to need E- assist for a few more years. But ok it's there. At 63, I get it. Not at 33.

I tried to delay getting a motor for years, but once I got it, I wondered why I waited so long. My motor makes me 30 again :)

I ride with the motor turned off when I don’t have a lot of time and I’m just trying to get some relaxing exercise time outside. However when I have more time, the motor allows me to ride farther, and for longer, than I would be able to just on my own. It extends the amount of time I’m able to enjoy riding outside. Considering I would be mostly home bound without it, because arthritis has limited my ability to walk comfortably for very long, the motor was essential to maximize my riding time.

Does the motorized Magnum still retain the elevated seat positions of my current older Magnum? What is the price of the new Magnum?

Yes, the seating does not change. The Magnum XL runs about 3650 and their boost kit is 3250.

many places have a law in place for the wattage on the motor...... very interesting how the wattage for this motor is non existent, not even on bosch's own website.

Bosch motors are 250 watts, they post it on their description on each motor.

Question - kinda off topic ... Before I upgrade to a mid-drive on my GreenSpeed, I need more powerful DISC BREAKS! Ive hear that TT was going the switch all GS trikes to them, but discontinue the X7 (that I have), however according to TT the spindles from a gt20- will work in the X7'sframe - anybody willing to verify this for me OR sell me the steering spindles with caliper mounts for disc??
