@Mama Laryn I personally loved the use of the pomegranate❤ It typically symbolizes fertility, death/rebirth, beauty, eternal life. it also is a symbol that represents the planet pluto, which is the planet that represents rebirth, renewal, change, and transformation and is also associated with greek mythology (Hades & Persephone to be specific). You can look into the story of Hades and Persephone to get further details if you are interested in the story, but in short represents life, regeneration, and even marriage. In greek mythology, it is also believed that the pomegrante was brought by aphrodite (godess of love). Im sure there is so much more but this is what i took from it :) hope this helped and borough some insight to what i meant

It's all outward pretend peace. People I know like this are in utter chaos, internally. Great musician though 🔥
@brightonbotanicals55033 жыл бұрын
@@ancientfuture9690 Peace and chaos can co exist. My home is a peaceful weed jungle and my mind is also chaotic as I'm neurodivergent. What looks like a mess to you may be your misunderstanding of other people and one shouldn't generalise "people like this" More of note is your confidence to psychoanalyse and judge a complete stranger's state of being.
@ancientfuture96903 жыл бұрын
@@brightonbotanicals5503 I do not mind judging a character's state of being...we do it all the time because to make value judgements about life/others, helps us navigate the world more effectively. I'm sure you do it too when looking at a stranger in the street? And you're correct that peace and chaos (comically speaking) are inseparable opposites (as the Chinese Yin Yang symbolises) but I wasn't describing that. I was describing a kind of individual that acquires all the outward symbols and affectations of "culturally exotic/spiritual things" but still remains terribly anxious and neurotic. I've nothing against weed or other mind altering substances and actually I've had my fair share of psychedelic experiences. However, I've met MANY a psychonaut/burner that has the dreads, the meaningful tats, the unconventional piercings, the metaphysical and esoteric book collection, the yoga mat, a longing of a return to the 60's counter-culture etc, etc BUT inwardly they are developmentally stunted. They cannot hold meaningful relationships, they're passive aggressive, they're angry and resentful towards the world and even misanthropic. You of course might be different. I was simply pointing out that what might 'look like Zen' isn't always Zen. That was my personal experience when I was desperately seeking peace via those routes. I found eventually that peace can actually be found in being a regular, societal contributing citizen and not a statement wearing activist.

I have had my struggles with nihilism but it’s a self destructive cycle. We live largely in a culture that promotes nihilism and destruction for purposes of consumption.
