Rainbow Swiss Chard Seeds: amzn.to/3aOKyjm
It is best to start Swiss Chard in a seed starting tray instead of direct seeding them. You want to ensure that you plant the swiss chard in a container that has some organic material such as compost or other fertilizer amendments.
Swiss chard requires full sun, so ensure you place it is a spot that gets at least 5-6 hours of sunlight. It does tolerate some shade but may not grow as fast.
It is recommended to have some bone meal in the soil as it is full of phosphorus which is good for the Swiss Chard. You can follow the fertilization once every 3 weeks with a balanced liquid fertilizer, but it is not necessary.
We go over some other tips such as container requirement, soil mixture ratios, and general watering and care guidelines.
