I bought this too, but I can't figure out how to depressurize it. I had it pumped up and figured when I twisted off the lid, it would make that "sssssssssss" sound, but it didn't. I then pressed the leaver to spray and the sucker still had pressure! Glad I didn't try taking it apart or I'd probably have chemicals all over my face.

Interesting - someone commented that the pump valve "holds the pressure" - so what you're describing makes sense based on the pump valve pressure.

The instructions say to hold the wand down till the pressure bleeds off. Then open it up.
