You may be happy to know that they changed the straps...finally!!After watching many videos, I opted to get this sprayer because I feel it will give me the volume I need to cover my yard. I just bought one a few hours ago and I was all set to know to expect. However, to my surprise, when I opened the box, I noticed it has padded straps!! I'm so excited to use them. Of course they aren't as stylish as your but they feel comfortable so far (the sprayer was empty). I hope it will do great for my lawn projects.

Thank you so much for your help with the attachment of the straps at the lower end of the unit. I think the clips provided were for another application altogether as they didn't work worth a darn on the sprayer. Your technique allowed the straps to snap into place and stay there. The straps provided with my sprayer were considerably better padded and all they lacked was the chest cross-strap which doesn't seem like it will be a problem. I wonder if it might be quicker to get the new replacement straps from HF?

Great video, I purchased this same sprayer and I agree the straps hurt when the tank is full. I just ordered 2 sets and I should get them in 4 - 6 weeks.

I was also wondering how I was supposed to get the clips to fit correctly. It looks as if they are unsafe to use the way it is shipped. My shoulder straps look a lot different than yours though. Mine have almost as much padding as the orange straps you purchased but don't have a chest strap which worries me. I am glad you have a link to the ebay straps because I am going to buy a pair if the ones that come with the sprayer hurt my back and shoulders. I watched both of your videos, thank you for explaining how you inserted the straps. I have spent about an hour trying to get the straps to stay on!

Has a anyone tried to pressurize the tank with by installing a schrader valve? It seems like the pump action only lasts 5 seconds.

Do these straps work good the this sprayer ? Did they help it to be more comfortable on your shoulders once you used it and had it on your back for a while ? i know you had it on in the video but that was just to show it on i dont think it was filled so wanted to know how they felt once you had weight in it and it was on your back for a while

Yes they work great. Use it all the time. Try to keep the tank at 3 gallons, as 4 gallons is just way too heavy.

watch out if you are filling it to 4 gallon like i was, the strap catch will break/slip out like mine did. had to use tie wraps. still where else you get 4 gallon for 24 dollars. just need to add a motor to it my arms are dead from pumping few thousand times..

I seen the other video before i seen this one.....My concern is about the strap with the clip on the end.....I am also having issues with the clip popping off. I was wanting to know what you did to convert that side to assemble like the other side???? Did you cut a slot on the side of the black plastic bottom???...Please let me know, i see that there is a black plastic piece right before the clip and if there was a slot i could perhaps run the strap in the slot, attach the black plastic piece and it would hold just like the other side. I'm wondering if you cut a slot and if so what did you use to cut the slot....Thank you!!

For mine, the original strap bottom clip sometimes slipped off as I am putting it on my back, but never popped off as I am using it. As for the new straps I showed in this video, it's exactly as I showed it, and nothing was cut/modified. Just loop the new strap in the original cut out holes. Basically I never had any issue with the strap coming off while using it (both original or this modified one).

I ended up drilling a small hole through the clip and into the black base & used a bolt, lock washer & nut....It doesnt come off now! Works just fine & i can still adjust the strap if needed!

@@j.b.p6478 -- Thanks for the tip. That's what I am going to do too. I have already removed the strap hooks and fed the strap through the hole by itself. Those hooks are completely worthless and a very poor design.

How long did it take to recieve new strap kit from China??? Nobody in USA Sells Them what a Shame

Usual ship time from China will be 2-4 weeks. I have never had issue with not receiving the stuff I bought on Ebay from China sellers. You just need to wait couple weeks.
