It seems great for handling a short walkway, stairs, and deck.....but once you have a 7"-12" of snow (repeated digging passes), you'll definitely get it done quicker with an actual single stage snow blower. . Either way, great demonstration and thank you very much for taking the time to share.

Absolutely and I have thought of going with the 20inch single-stage blower but I don't see a constant need. If it was that bad I have the DR Walk-behind single-stage 30inch 15hp Kawasaki motor. It is bigger than most walk-behind single-stage snowblower but the power more than makes up for it. I just tested it in 14 inches of snow nice and fluffy, I tried doing layers but then threw it right at the bottom and even though it was over its capacity and needed a second pass. The maneuverability with our deck obstacles blows a single stage for the tight stuff. Greatly appreciate your comment, take care!

Nice video. I appreciated you spending the effort and time to share the pros and cons of this small GreenWorks handheld battery operated shovel. But can you please tell me what Amps battery you used.? And if one battery was enough to clear your deck and driveway.? I would really appreciate your advice and answers. Thanks

I could see that being used on a deck with less than 6" of fresh snow. The iced snow on the bottom is problematic for it's ability. Snow shoveling can be hard when it gets in a pile that needs to be lifted above the railing... this solves that issue.

That would be ideal yes, I just used it for a foot of snow. Even with it buried in fluffy snow it still threw it. I don't see the ice snow as problematic as with a shovel you would require more exertion and if it was bad enough I would have gotten the walk behind snowblower. But agree no need to lift it over the railing it just blows it back where it came from!

You should make a mowing video of the x728 when it gets nicer.

Too heavy for a woman to use, plus it needs to be brought into the house after use which is messy messy messy.

could you explain? Rated storage and operating temp is -17 C which is pretty reasonable for storage sheds, garages, basements and such... Inside seems to be exceptions, no? (I live in northern Quebec, we get -40C very often... but inside temp of my shed usually is around -25-ish in those extreme cases)
