Greetings and Besos in Spanish speaking countries

En Uruguay y Argentina es normal, pero también el saludo varía que tan cercano se es con esa persona. Generalmente si es alguien que conoces por primera vez o que no tienes mucha confianza se saluda con un apretón de manos o ciertos modismos que están de moda hoy por hoy en muchos países latinoamericanos, de lo contrario se saluda con un beso.

UH, this depends on the country. Aint no two men kissing each other in Puerto Rico. This must be a thing in Spain.

neither in Spain. In spain two men does NOT kiss each other. Between male and women yes!!

gosh, this is a useful tip for me, who is from Korea where the culture is totally different XD I was learning Spanish by myself since I have a dream to go there and speak in Spanish. And the book says there's a different greeting culture in Spain. and this is it! thank you so much for helping me understand with various situations. haha

Great video! Men greeting men with kiss is technically just common in Spain, Argentina and Uruguay though. The other countries just hug or pat.

It can be common in any hispanic country depending in the zone and the kind of mentality the person has. Here in Chile it is very common the kiss greeting between men, but in the late decade they do it after a firm handshake or hug. I still see this greeting though, it's just it has become more oriented between women or man-woman.

As middle eastern we do this but actually by 2,3 or 4 besitos , and never between a male and female two males or two females. We check hands and hug and kiss in the same time lol.

I've searched this because I've seen in fb page they kiss with lips like lovers too young and as u can see it is normal to them unlike me seeing this like curious why...search el Salvador 4k in Facebook .or because I can't understand what they are saying .pls enlighten me I'm curious haha

My parents were from Latin American and they wouldn't snub affectionate greetings from others, but they would not initiate it themselves.
