Increíble it is so good for begginer and if you are not native on english don't mind at all because they speak very understandable so you can practice both language of course being like B1 or more at English

Is the pronunciation of the g at the end of fertig being hard a regional thing? Every other source I've seen and heard gives the pronunciation of the g in fertig as the same as the ch in ich.

Hallo 🙂 You are absolutely right. There are quite a lot or regional differences when it comes to pronunciation in German and fertig is great example for this. In some areas it is pronounced with a "ch" sound at the end, like in "ich". In other areas the pronunciation is closer to the spelling and the sound at the end is a "ig", like in "einig".

Gute Frage 👍 Bist du bereit? - Are you ready? Bist du fertig? - Literally it translates as "Are you done?". However, it can also have the meaning of being ready in the context of being done with a previous task or preparation. It depends on regional difference but in some regions the two phrases are both used to ask if you are ready. I hope that helped 🙂
