Perfect timing! I have literally just been researching mouth pieces for my soprano trombone this past week and was going to message you asking for a picture.

Fantastic breath support on contra! That C#1 seemed to last an eternity!

Wow this is awesome! Pretty late comment but I have a question. I have a soprano trombone that I love to play. Only problem is it uses a trumpet mouthpiece and I flipping suck at trumpet. Like actually it’s embarassing. I use soprano mostly for jazz as it’s quite a fun instrument to just play around with. Would you say getting your soprano mouthpiece is worth it. It’s kind of expensive considering I main on tenor. Might be a dumb question but I am genuinely curious. Also love you content you sound awesome!

I’m a tenor trombone player mainly too Lev! That’s whole point of my soprano trombone mouthpiece design. It’s meant for trombone players to play soprano.

@@JimSuperNova yeah. I really like the idea. I’ll definitely keep this in mind. Does it feel like a much different instrument than a tenor? Same rim but different cup and bore so it would probably feel slightly different. Thanks!

Definitely feels like a different instrument but if you think of a trumpet sound, that helps

@@JimSuperNova thanks! Does it naturally generate more of an orchestral sound? Or is it possible to get a desired sound for say jazz? Or chamber? Also, this is a very stupid question Ik but would you say this mouthpiece is more designed for your personal playing style or is it relatively uniformed for most players?

@@levfriedman9802 it’s tough to say. Only one way to find out! Give it a try!!

Who need knuckle dusters when you have 5 Greg Black mouthpieces?! You say you make music with 'em? Oh. I've got completely the wrong end of the stick... 🥴🥴😂😂
