Like quantum mechanics, our choices are in a super position that God knows, because God knows all superpositions....

He doesnt know every possibility by His choice,, BUT He can make it all ... whatever decision we make.. work for good to His plan.. final outcome is His,, but the path is our decision be it smooth or rough,,,

Think of the number of calculation s involved in making everything turn out to be good. Miss the green light? Leave home one minute earlier? Take the short cut or the scenic route? And all this happening for 7 billion people. Oh, my. Harder to imagine this than the distance of a billion light years. 51879000000000000000000000. Our God is an awesome God!

Time is part of God´s creation. Therefore he is not subjected to time. He is living in "eternal presence". That means for example he is "at the same time" present at my birth and now, a few decades later. That makes him knowing me more than I do and knowing all of my decisions. But I am free ( to a certain extent) to make my decisions. He is knowing them because I make them.

The problem with "open theology" is for me that it must deny that God has his BEING "outside" of time because he created time.

What does being "outside of time" mean exactly? Unless you are imagining a B theory of time I think it remains possible both that God is "outside of time" and that the future is open.

Augustine and Calvin, respectively, are not God.

like laplace's devil.. whats interesting though is that if your assuming some magnificent creature of that sort could know the positions / states of every particle in the universe.. how exactly would it be able to predict such a systems states if it itself is not known..haha
