Alice may not have been a Brady by blood, but she sure as hell was one regardless. She showed love to all of the kids, and Mike and Carol. She even went on trips with the Brady's and it's obvious that they love her as much she loves them. True MVP, that Alice.

Damn good actress, that Ann B Davis. Seeing these little snippets is so comforting,,,, a hug from childhood. The show seemed hokey at times, but watching these I find it much more quality than I recall.

I agree with you there. Alice Nelson wore a uniform but she was like a member of the family. She was around the boys from the time Bobby was born and around the girls from the time that they were really young. I bet that a lot of people wish that they had a housekeeper like her

Greg friend, Tommy, was portrayed by Craig Huxley. He appeared in two classic Star Trek episodes, Operation Annihilate (as Kirks nephew), and And the Children Shall Lead. Later on, the former child actor, famed for patenting his own version and making extensive use of the "BLASTER BEAM", a unique musical instrument consisting of an 18-foot metal beam strung with 2 dozen strings and massive pickups. Played by striking the wires with metallic objects, mallets, and even artillery shell casings. It was first heard in Star Trek: The Motion Picture (1979) as the distinctive metallic bass notes associated with "V'ger". It went on to become a staple of science fiction film scores in the 1980s through 2020 (such as 2010 (1984) and Alien³ (1992)). HIs music instruments were also heard in Star Trek: First Contact. He is the father of singer/actress/Co-Producer Fiona Huxley.

Uh, this is the Brady Bunch. In this era parents were worried that their kids would run away and join a cult with free love, and the girls would get pregnant. Or the boys would get drafted to Vietnam. Don’t think for one second that life was some kind of cakewalk then.

And also "Archie Bunker's Place" when Archie found a joint in the laundry basket. His older niece, Billie, realizing that it belonged to the younger niece, Stephanie, took the blame, and Archie ordered her to move out of the house. Stephanie never actually smoked any pot, but her friends gave a joint to her and urged her to try it. Just as Billie was set to leave, Stephanie fessed up. This tends to be a common (and often overdone) theme in television shows.

In the real world, Greg’s friend would never let Greg grab his arm like that to tell Greg’s folks what happened. He would said “get the hell off of me I’m out. Tell your folks whatever u want!” Then again, it’s TV. Ha.

What guy his age in the early 1970s was going to a malt shop? Those were a very 1950s thing. I don't remember any existing anymore by then, except a few nostalgia places. Alice and the parents---they might have been of the generation to hang out in one as teens.

Alice would have made a great Public Defender. Also Greg didn't finish his Milk. It was synonomous on the Show the same way Tea was Synonomous on Degrassi. On UK Soaps whenever there's a problem they solve it with a Cup Of Tea. It kind of reminds me of when Theo Huxtable had a Marijuana Joint in his Textbook and he made the young man come home to admit that Theo was innocent.

When Greg's friend Tommy confessed to his mother that the cigarettes were his, and not Greg's, and she told him that he was in trouble plenty, it never was revealed whether his punishment was that he could not play in the band the night of the High School Dance. Maybe Tommy's parents were so angry with him, they killed him, like a lot of parents threaten to do when they get angry enough.
