I was SHOOK. Like, really? I know that Seth, more so than other late night hosts, features guests that don't usually get booked on other shows (drag performers come to mind). But to book someone based off their KZbin channel? Times have changed. It just shows the power of KZbin (Mark Rober has appeared on Kimmel a few times, and Lilly Singh had a short-lived show right after this one) and how the entertainment landscape has shifted. Years ago, a project like this would be promoted on something like BBC America, as there would be another way for viewers in the US to (legally) watch. Now, this show uploads on KZbin the day after it airs. I also like how no one mentioned the failed US network version of the show, LOL...

Or they just massively respect Alex’s weird “not-funny” (The way he plays it is always hilarious) banter bits at the beginning and what he’s done with the show in general. For a mostly unscripted show, the chaos and weirdness of the comedy combined with the insane scripted bits, is a wonderful treat and a hell of a lot better than most scripted comedy. Writers for a talk show would certainly admire that.

Taskmaster is a great show. The editing and camera work is so incredible you don't realize how incredible it is at first. The contestants are always great and these two hosts are a perfect match up. I've watched every season to date as they hit KZbin for the US audience and enjoy it not only as a comedy but also as a peak into the human mind. Contestants will usually approach the same task in radically different ways. Some are very literal thinkers and plow straight in, some try to find a way around the rules to accomplish the task in a way that fits the goal but isn't what was really meant. Some notice clues, others don't. Some are exceptionally creative, even if they aren't the best at the task. It just works so well, one of my favorite television shows of all time.

This is the most excited I’ve ever been for any guests on Seth. I’m honestly giddy watching this.

I love that they use the boulder to explain the show. It was the first task I ever saw and also the thing I use as an example. Because it's kinda hard to explain, what the show is about and even harder to explain, what makes it so special. It's just an amazing show and if you possess humour, you should watch it

Roisin spending ages trying to book a courier for the boulder is legit one of my favourite moments of the entire show😂
