I didn’t know he was going to be in the new ghostbusters film. Can’t wait to see it. James was also absolutely hilarious in taskmaster season 7.

Comedians, like musicians, live in the timing. The comfort in the differences in timings speak to their craft. One person in this interview seems much more comfortable than the other.

Brilliant misdirect. James sets up a joke where you expect the punch to be that Seth can’t read but then he goes on about the readers strike, which he ends with Seth not signing the contract because he can’t read. Genius

if only people knew how good panel shows are across the pond. James Acaster is just one of the amazing comedians I've discovered watching them. We Americans know Jimmy Carr for his occasional standup special, but very few realize just how many shows he is hosting or has hosted.. or how damn funny they are. The closest thing we have here is the recent reboot of After Midnight, and while its fun to watch, we could have so many more.

...and he just shouted shouty horrible shouty heckles for the whole show. And afterwards I was like, "Lloyd, that was not the plan!" And he was real mature about it. He kinda went, "James, I'm so sorry. Honestly, I don't know what came over me. It won't happen again."

Not enough people get James Acaster and it's sad. He's quite literally a comedic genius and I'm sad that so many people think comedy is when you shut off your brain and laugh when someone trips and falls. This is actual talent at it's finest

I have seen Jimmy Carr invite hecklers to speak for a part of his show. So another comedian has done it. But boy are those comedians ready to blast a heckler hard for it.
