I stumbled across Greg Holland when a buddy of mine worked at a small town radio station in/around 1994. I managed to get an advanced copy of the "Let Me Drive" CD and I was hooked. I love every song on this CD ("When I Come Back (I Wanna Be My Dog)" being my least favorite) and still listen to it a lot today. I actually got to work with the sound crew for a show that he did at the Peach Festival in Gaffney SC. He did a couple of Conway Twitty covers that were fantastic. He was a super nice guy. His second CD "Exception To The Rule" was fantastic also. I hate that he just faded away but he came in at a time when bigger, new names were being promoted more aggressively. I hear through the internet that he is still active but I never find any information about his shows.

Thanks Al, this one passed me by when I bought the album. Victoria Shaw is a great songwriter and has had a UK #1 with Boyzone in the past. The lyrics from country music in the 1990's was just beautiful and glad I was a big follower back then. I remember going into HMV in Bond Street at their first closing down sale and bought 43 albums for £43. What a bargain ! Memories and all good ones too. Cheers, Steve
