Greg generally uses both his custom made Keisel/Carvin guitars and his Custom DV Mark Maragold 40 watt amps. Don't know what Greg is using for this video. FYI: He also uses a Boss DD-3 Digital Delay to keep his delays very simple and clean.

Very accomplished player.....just not my cup of tea. Many, many notes being played. I need more melodic w/ some groove to get my juices flowing. This is not a criticism just my thoughts on this genre of music.. The Holdsworth, Steve Howe, Fripp, Bill Frisell, Frank Gambale style is not one i enjoy listening to. Only an opinion not a criticism.

What in gods name does Steve Howe have to do with the other players in your list? Fripp for that matter too. His playing is so NOT related to the fusion stuff from Holdsworth of Gambale.

I'm sorry to break the party but I'm a big fan of Howe but don't find this convincing. Some false note (not out, false) and not very melodic, just some shreds to hide the lack of control over this (difficult) tune. Plus his sound here is not the best either. Please don't kill me youtube people :D
