Greg Inglis has unretired, and will be playing in the U.K. for the Warrington Wolves in 2021 I believe. One of the few positives of COVID19.

this guy was the most devastating ball runner to ever exist. an absolute freak of nature. he would walk into any nrl team at the time. hell if he crossed over to union he would walk into any international team he was that good. and I say this as a Melbourne storm hater and nsw supporter . nothing but respect

Why did GI retire? He was playing injured for at least a season and a half, and it was a miserable and painful sight for anyone who appreciated him in his prime. But he's had a break from the game, got his injuries and mentality sorted out, and has signed for Warrington Wolves in the European Super League for the 2021 season. Fingers crossed he stays fit.

Rugby League (known as League, what the NRL plays) and Rugby Union (known as Rugby) have different point scoring systems. In rugby a try is worth 5pts, a conversions after a try (like a PAT) is worth 2 points. A penalty kick at goal and a drop goal are both worth 3 points. In League. A try is worth 4 points, a conversion 2 Pts. Penalty kicks are worth 2 pts and drop goals (known as field goals in league) are worth only 1 point.

He played for The Melbourne Storm(purple jersey)from '06 to '11 and won two premierships(superbowls). From 2012 to his retirement he played for South Sydney Rabbitohs(red and green jersey) and also won a premiership in that team. He also played rep footy for Queensland (Maroon jersey) and Australia (green and gold jersey)

That match up at 5:14 was long awaited to see how Sonny Bill Williams would match up against Greg Inglis, this answered everything. INGLIS = GOAT

Thoroughly enjoyed your play by play commentary 😂 GI was a wonderful player. He played for the Melbourne Storm and the South Sydney Rabbitohs where he won the premiership (Superbowl). He also represented Queensland and Australia and a recipient of many awards including being the best player etc.

He was a beast, just retired after a decade at being best or near best, a franchise player. Big guy , 6' 5" around 230 pounds in his younger days and ended up 250 with the red and greens without losing too much pace. Glad to see you enjoy something new,. Ps, this guy and shaun johnson play rugby league (NRL) a different game than the Rugby (Union) game for which most of the world has some sort of familiarity with, both games have same skill set but the rules differ greatly when someone is tackled.

Doc Gonzales the guy was a true beast foreal, also yes I see a slight difference in the 2 like they are playing similar sports with slight different rules, soon I’ll learn the difference
@docgonzales

i'll try and simplify. In NRL you get tackled and other than a 1 on 1 strip the defence cant compete for the ball when the player stops. Instead play is reset much like the NFL, defence retreats 10 yards , the guy in possession gets up as fast as he can and rolls the ball under his leg for the next play to begin. Each team gets a set of 6 tackles to score at the other end, so NFL tactics like kicking for field position on your last play is a thing as is kicking for the hail mary option if close to the line on your last play. Rugby Union is markedly different, like soccer the ball is always in play, so a dog pile occurs at every tackle rather than the non contest of the NRL. This dogpile for scraps can make the game of rugby a bit boring for some, for me its the rules around the dogpile, contesting for the ball you have to be on your feet, you have to come in at a certain angle, if you are the tackler you have to let the man go, then get on your feet to contest, if you are the ball carrier you have to let the ball go straight away on the ground etc etc etc it becomes a penalty fest for me. NRL is definitely the NFL version of rugby if you get my drift.

If you look at the score in the corner you will see they are in overtime (81.42) it is an 80 minute game, in the era of golden point the first points scored gets the win, and the game is over, mostly it will be a field goal to win, loved the call thanks

Yeah he played from 2005-2019. Although he literally announced today he is coming out of retirement aha. Latrell Mitchell is a young player in the NRL who has been described as a Greg Inglis clone. Its worth checking him out. He’s got the same freakish size and speed. Although he seems to potentially have some attitude problems currently kzbin.info/www/bejne/d6XJqGRjhLOAo7c
