Greg Inglis is an Aboriginal Australian. He is a Native. He does the crawl like a goanna (large lizard). Because they are fast. That's why he does the crawl like a goanna. 🖤💛❤

first, get your facts straight. you know what I'm sayin'? rugby and rugby league are two very different games. you know what I'm sayin"? different number of players, different rules. you know what I'm sayin'?' different scoring systems,, you know what I'm sayin'? different tactics different game strategies, different game plans. you know what I'm sayin'? diehard fans of one or the other are offended when you use the incorrect name. you know what I'm sayin? if you are going to comment on rugby or rugby league, please educate yourselves. you know what I'm sayin?

“He’s fast but he ain’t flying” Mate, he was leaving fullbacks in the dust and fullbacks are generally the fastest player on the team. He’s still one of the fastest guys to have played, which is insane at his size.

The crazy part of this is this is just highlights. He would perform the kick return function for 80 mins. And also the kick chaser role. He would run into a wall of meat over and over all game. And then when the possession switched he would be front and centre destroying the opponents player performing the same job as him.. the collisions on kick returns are nothing short of mental.

G.I is an indigenous Aboriginal. The "Goanna" crawl is his totem, and yes a TRY is a touchdown in your terms. 4 points a try and 2 points a conversion. Drop kicks equals 1 point. Welcome 2 Australian Footy! ❤️💪🏾

His crawl is a celabration for his culture. Greg inglis is an Australian aboriginal similar to a native american of australia. And aboriginals have celebrated goannas (Large lizard) through dance because it is a main source of food for thousands of years. That is what he is doing? Letting everybody know who and what he is. Its kinda cool cz racism here can get pretty bad.

basically a try is a touchdown, the only difference is the ball has to touch the ground. So in those videos where you saw greg rolling people over onto their backs, he was preventing them from scoring. Also yes, you can kick the ball (punt). Basically each team has 5 tackles to get up the field as much as possible, and normally on the 5th tackle, if they aren't in scoring range, they'll kick the ball for territory, If they are in the opponent's half, generally a kick becomes more of an attacking kick

Thanks for posting. Please note though that he is NOT a rugby player. This is NRL. NOT rugby. I know it’s a bit confusing but they are two sports. Both rugby LEAGUE (NRL) and NFL originated from rugby but the two sports are worlds apart now. This is THE game. Thanks again.

So on the 5th tackle the hooker or halfback will give it to the five-eighth or halfback, as long as the players are onside and behind the kicker, the kicker will kick it.

G I is a Kurri (us white fellas say Australian Aborigine cause we aren't real smart). The Goanna is his totem animal so the crawl is a celebration of who he is. Sort of, Kurri concepts don't translate into English very well sometimes.

Yes you can punt and run. They call it a kick chase. Normally on the 5th tackle they kick the ball. As long as your standing behind your teammate who kicks/punts the ball you can challenge for the ball.

You can kick on the last play of the ball. You get 5 attempts to play the ball before giving the ball over to the opposition or better to kick it instead. There are other forms of kicking options... bombs (high balls), grubber, chip banana.
